Anthony Frudd (AF) Guitars
This guitar, the ‘Baby Holly’ particularly took my eye. Although most of Anthony Frudd’s other models exhibit some unique curves and shapes, I was taken with the simple focus on the piece of wood that the body of this guitar is hewn from:
Baby Holly #11011
Body made from a 40 year old fireplace mantelpiece -chambered with mahogany inserts and Flamed Maple top.
Set 20” scale length Maple neck with Rosewood fretboard with Nashville tuning.
Stainless Steel frets and Ivory 12th fret inlay.
Vintage style pickup with master volume and tone controls.
Gold Wilkinson hardware.
Anthony Frudd says:
AF Guitars consists of me. Anthony. From the design to the sanding to stringing up for the first time, every guitar is made by my hands here in West Yorkshire, England.
I enjoy turning a rough sawn piece of wood into a beautiful musical instrument. Ok, so I don’t enjoy sanding so much, but it has to be done. All guitars feature select woods from various sources and top quality hardware and electronics. Bare Knuckle pickups, Gotoh hardware and CTS and Switchcraft parts feature as standard.
